MIND SPACE
MENTAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN
Programs used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
Client: Swinburne University (University Project for Communication Design Strategy)
About the Project: As a design consultant, Swinburne University commissioned myself to develop a campaign for Mental Health Week. The aim of the campaign is to increase engagement amongst students at Swinburne University in regards to their mental health.
Design Direction: The proposed campaign for Swinburne Mental Health Week is called ‘Mind Space’. This campaign focuses on the stress and anxiety of studying online and how vital it is to relax, take a moment and relax your mind and focus on your mental health state in a positive way.
This campaign will be presented through an app which is exclusive to Swinburne online students only. Online students will be made aware of this app through the Swinburne Canvas platform, a place they are on every day. Engaging within students and the university will consist of a workshop on campus focused on meditation and relaxing the mind, online students will be made aware of this via student email with digital posters advertising the day.
The incentive this campaign will bring to online students is the importance of how of meditation can be implemented into everyday life, relieve stress from the anxiety of online studying it may bring at times and how to handle it.
